Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an Accounting Associate III – Accounts Payable to support our client’s team in Aliso Viejo, CA. This temporary role handles 2- and 3-way PO and non-PO invoice processing, driven by established procedures, with emphasis on accuracy and timely payments.

Responsibilities include managing the AP inbox, running aging reports, maintaining vendor master records, and assisting with weekly pay batches and month-end close.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• 4–6 years of accounts payable, finance operations, or related experience
• Experience with PO (2- and 3-way match) and non-PO invoice processing
• Experience with ERP systems and financial processing tools
• Knowledge of Sunshine Act reporting requirements and SOX compliance
• Proficiency in MS Office

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $21.97 – 27.45 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employment Type: Temporary – approximately 1 year
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

Job Summary:

• Process AP invoices (2-way, 3-way PO and non-PO) accurately and on time, following established procedures
• Manage the AP inbox and respond quickly to supplier and internal questions
• Run and review aging reports, and follow up to resolve open invoice issues
• Create and maintain vendor master records, including supplier and bank information changes, and perform ACH verifications
• Help with weekly pay batch processing and month-end close
• Support internal and external audit requests and Fixed Assets projects
• Help with ad hoc AP projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• 4–6 years of accounts payable, finance operations, or related experience, or proven ability to resolve moderately complex transactional issues
• Experience with PO (2- and 3-way match) and non-PO invoice processing
• Experience with ERP systems and financial processing tools
• Knowledge of Sunshine Act reporting requirements and SOX compliance
• Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments at once
• Proficiency in MS Office
