Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. in Creedmoor, NC is seeking an Accounting Associate (AP) to join our finance team reporting to the Controller.

You will process vendor invoices, match PO's and receipts, manage employee expenses in SAP Concur, and assist with month-end closing. This role offers medical coverage, 401(k) with company match, annual bonus potential, and flexible onsite work arrangements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with SAP Concur is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
• Process employee expenses via SAP Concur
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable files and records
• Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues

To be considered for the Accounting Associate (AP) opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation Pay Range Depending on Experience $25-$28/hour
