Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc in North America is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support billing, accounts receivable follow-up, and transaction entry across our finance team. Responsibilities include creating invoices, recording financial transactions in NetSuite, reviewing AR aging, pursuing past-due payments, and keeping both digital and physical records organized.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, corporate accounting experience, NetSuite proficiency, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Experience in corporate accounting environment.
Advanced knowledge of Netsuite and other financial management tools.
Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper or similar credentials.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Create invoices according to company practices and submit invoices to customers.
Enter financial transactions into accounting software.
Regularly review AR Aging reports to follow up on payment discrepancies; assist in collecting past due accounts.
Collaborate within the team or across departments for accounting/billing related tasks.
Maintain digital and physical financial records.
Other tasks related to accounting assigned by the supervisor.
