Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Accounting Leadership Development Associate (ALDA) to join its two-year rotation program and develop as an entry-level accountant. The role combines hands-on accounting duties with rotation across multiple business units to build supervision and analytics skills.

Responsibilities include monthly closes, reconciliations, budget analyses, and cross-functional collaboration. Relocation and travel to Cleveland, OH are expected as part of the program, with mentorship

Qualifications

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency with SAP Finance, Power BI, and Alteryx is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monthly closing, journal entries and correspondence to various divisions and third parties.
Reconciliations/analysis for monthly and quarterly accounts.
Interact with accounts payable and ensure controls for invoices and check requests.
Budget review and analysis.
Assist in accounting/auditing of catalog services charges and allocations.
Coordinate annual supplemental W-2 process for relocated employees.
Prepare monthly, month-end, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Monitor orders and shipments.
Support development of financial plans and budgeting processes.
Special projects and presentations for leadership meetings.
