Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Cleveland, OH, is seeking anAccounting Leadership Development Associate (ALDA) to join a two-year, rotational program. You will perform foundational accounting duties, including monthly closings, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting while receiving leadership development and cross-unit exposure.

The role requires relocation, travel to HQ in Cleveland, and strong analytical, communication, and GAAP skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
1–2 years accounting experience preferred.
Willingness to relocate and travel to Cleveland HQ.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Proficiency in SAP Finance, Power BI and Alteryx.

Responsibilities

Monthly closing, journal entries and correspondence to divisions and third parties.
Account reconciliations/analysis (monthly and quarterly).
Interaction with accounts payable and ensure controls for invoices and check requests.
Budget review and analysis.
Assist in catalog services charges allocations and monthly entries.
Coordinate annual supplemental W-2 process for relocated employees.
Prepare monthly, month-end, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Assist in financial analysis of operating groups monthly.
Special projects/presentations for operations and board meetings.
