Job summary

Northmarq, a leading commercial real estate capital markets firm, seeks an Accountant to ensure accurate cash activity and journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, and monitor Salesforce-ERP data flow. This role emphasizes U.S. GAAP knowledge, initiative, and a detail-oriented approach.

Ideal candidates have a BA in Accounting, 3+ years in accounting, and strong Excel plus ERP skills. Multi-entity and intercompany experience are preferred, with flexibility for remote work where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience with Netsuite or Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/Salesforce integration familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain journal entries and perform bank reconciliations timely.
• Monitor ERP and Salesforce data flow for accuracy of cash activity.
• Understand intercompany accounting and consolidation implications.
• Investigate variances and coordinate resolutions with partners.
• Identify process improvements and support close deadlines.
