Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage monthly close tasks, ensure GAAP compliance, and support audits. The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to work effectively on a remote team.

Responsibilities include period-end close, variance analysis, process automation, and collaboration with AP, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A to improve financial data accuracy and controls.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Large scale ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong aptitude to understand accounting systems and extract information
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, remote-friendly environment

Responsibilities

• Close the books monthly in alignment with GAAP, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Analyze period-over-period results and provide variance commentary
• Automate and streamline processes; contribute to internal controls
• Assist external auditors during year-end financial statement audits
