Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented accountant to manage monthly GL reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany activities, and treasury support in a fully remote role.

You will coordinate with multiple entities, ensure GAAP adherence (ASC 606/360/470/405), and assist with audits and budgets. A 3-year track record and a Bachelor's in accounting/finance are required. This position offers remote work from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of related experience in corporate accounting.
• Experience in multi-entity environments and with Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
• Solid US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606, ASC 360, ASC 470 and ASC 405.
• Ability to plan and monitor budgets/forecasted amounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations and detailed balance sheet analysis.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed.
• Calculate monthly sales commissions and related journal entries.
• Assist with intercompany balances, eliminations, and reconciliations across entities.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepaids and recurring corporate adjustments.
• Support external audits and tax requests per GAAP and policy.
• Assist treasury with daily cash reconciliations and cross-department process improvements.
