Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Accountant to support a growing accounting team in a fully onsite role. You will process 200–300 AP invoices weekly, perform three-way matching, and assist with weekly check runs and reconciliations.

Candidates should have prior AP experience, be able to handle high volumes, and ideally have job costing exposure, especially in construction or contracting environments. Sage 300 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable experience required.
• Accounting experience beyond AP is preferred.
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices.
• Job costing experience preferred, ideally within the construction or contracting industry.
• Experience with Sage 300 preferred.
• Familiarity with three-way matching and multiple-entity accounting.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing
• The Accountant will complete account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support job costing and ensure costs are accurately recorded and allocated
• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with day-to-day accounting operations
• The Accountant will support the accounting team with month-end activities and other accounting tasks as needed
