Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions and opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities include journal entries, GL maintenance, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, AP/AR, audits, GAAP compliance, and ERP/Excel use. BS in Accounting/Finance and 2–5 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with an ERP system preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
