Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Account Specialist to own the complete order lifecycle for an assigned customer portfolio. You will be the front line of the customer relationship, resolving issues independently so sales partners can focus on growth.

You will manage orders from entry to delivery and invoicing, communicate timing and changes, resolve problems, and identify upsell opportunities while collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, customer success, or account support preferred.
• Experience with ERP/CRM platforms like SAP, Oracle or Salesforce.
• Attention to detail and accuracy as per department standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to deliver news clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the complete order lifecycle from entry through delivery and invoicing.
• Advise customers proactively of changes or impacts to orders, including shortages, pricing, or SKU discrepancies.
• Resolve customer issues independently; escalate only when needed.
• Handle incoming calls and messages per procedures; no voicemail in scope.
• Record, own, and resolve customer complaints; coordinate with other departments to reach resolution.
• Build relationships with assigned customers; manage requests for mutual benefit.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities based on ordering patterns or unmet needs.
