Job summary

Matador Distributing LLC is seeking an Account Sales Trainee to support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for the ASM during vacations, sickness, or special projects. The trainee will work with management to maintain customer relationships across all large and small format off-premise stores, ensuring service is safe, productive, and professional.

The role focuses on training to become an Account Sales Manager, with opportunities to learn how to manage route execution, merchandising

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain or have a medical DOT certification.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• Clear background and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Train with the Account Sales Managers and cover their routes as needed.
• Operate company-owned vehicles according to state and federal laws.
• Maintain invoices, bills and other required paperwork.
• Deliver documents to staff after delivery.
