Job summary

Crane-Solutions-LL is seeking an Account Operations Supervisor, Ground in Houston. This role leads the Account Coordination team upstream of bookings, ensuring complete, accurate requests and a strong customer-facing standard.

Responsibilities include governance of intake quality, consolidation decisions, and proactive communication. The role requires 5–7 years in freight/3PL, leadership experience, and proficiency with TMF, Power BI, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in freight or 3PL account management, including 1–3 years leading or supervising a team.
• Hands-on experience with transportation management systems; familiarity with US domestic ground freight modes.

Responsibilities

• Own intake quality and booking governance to ensure complete, accurate bookings at first release.
• Own consolidation decision tree and apply it to every new request before a booking is created.
• Set and enforce the account communication standards and act as escalation point for customers.
• Report account-level performance and drive improvements using system reporting and tooling.
• Coach and develop the team through regular one-to-ones and maintain coverage for all accounts.
