Job summary

Account Manager position in Downey, CA. Our client seeks an experienced sales professional to support existing customers and prospect new business in residential and commercial turf projects.

Base salary is $65,000 with commission, vehicle allowance, and benefits; relocation is not provided. Responsibilities include preparing bids, coordinating with project leadership, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing materials and payments, and tracking leads in HubSpot CRM.

Qualifications

• Required: Proven experience in landscape and construction estimating and project management.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with colleagues and leadership across departments.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bids, estimates, and quotes for residential and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager or General Manager from site visits through project completion.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction on every job, with a commitment to surpassing expectations.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to order necessary job materials and address inventory.
• Manage account payments and coordinate payment pickup as needed.
• Track leads in HubSpot CRM and monitor quote-to-sale ratios.
• Engage in promotions, sales contests, and marketing initiatives.
• Promote safe work practices and report hazards.
• Attend weekly continuous improvement meetings to enhance operations and sales.
