Founded in 1987, our client is going on 40 years in the turf and artificial surface industry. They pride themselves on extensive industry experience and being able to provide their customers expert level service and quality exclusively made in the U.S.A products. All of their products have decades of experience behind them, ensuring each one is manufactured for peak performance and durability.

They are looking to add an Account Manager based in Downey, California (or surrounding area) that would both assist current customers as well as prospect new business in both the residential and commercial space. With several different types of turf and artificial grass products, they are able to serve anything from full yard renovations, pet relief areas and commercial multi-use areas.

An ideal candidate would possess experience in a full sales cycle role with exposure to the turf or landscaping industries.

Compensation includes a $65,000 base salary + commision, as well a vehicle allowance and full suite of benefits.

Candidates must currently live in the required area as relocation is not provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare bids, estimates, and quotes for both residential and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager or General Manager from initial site visits through project completion, addressing any customer concerns or required changes.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction on every job, with a commitment to surpassing expectations.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to order necessary job materials, address inventory concerns, and resolve any installation team issues.
• Manage account payments, including collection or coordination of payment pickup as needed.
• Contribute to sales objectives by monitoring quote-to-sale ratios and tracking all leads (phone, in-person, online) in HubSpot CRM.
• Engage in company and location-specific promotions, sales contests, and marketing initiatives.
• Promote a safe work environment by using all equipment correctly and reporting any safety hazards.
• Attend weekly continuous improvement meetings, to enhance operations, customer satisfaction and sales performance.
