Job summary

Rent-A-Center is hiring for an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive sales. The role includes completing deliveries and pickups, maintaining store standards, and performing early-stage collections.

A strong customer focus and reliable driving record are essential. The position offers full-time hours, a $16.00–$16.15 per hour starting rate, and corporate benefits including health coverage and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using account management tools.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
