Job summary

Orkin in Urbandale, IA is seeking an Account Manager to oversee commercial and residential client accounts, conduct on-site inspections, design service plans, and drive retention. You’ll join a company with 120+ years of pest control expertise, backed by Orkin Guarantee and award-winning training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to obtain the required pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment, with costs covered by the company.
• Must be able to use a ladder safely and within the manufacturer's weight specifications.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and similar areas.

Responsibilities

• Build credibility and long-term relationships with commercial clients.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting, networking, and expanding accounts within territory.
• Conduct interior and exterior inspections; full paid training provided.
• Deliver compelling presentations highlighting Orkin’s value and close business.
• Serve as main point of contact to strengthen retention and partnerships.
• Use company-provided iPad to prepare proposals and manage pipeline.
