Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager II to handle a complex book of insurance business and provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier reps, underwriters and colleagues. You may work independently or with a Producer to support client advocacy and retention.

You will follow broker standards, manage renewals, review proposals, and coordinate internal processes to ensure accurate and timely coverage and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Four or more years insurance brokerage or property casualty experience in account management preferred.
• High School or equivalent.
• P & C Insurance Producer License required.
• Current CE credits in required lines and states.
• Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g., AAI, ARM, CIC).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day client service including coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
• Lead renewal process: obtain info, market, negotiate terms/pricing, review quotes, present to client and Producer, invoice
• Review quotes to ensure all insurance requirements are included
• Maintain client relationships and satisfaction
• Manage and delegate work to Associate Account Managers I & II
• Maintain relationships with underwriters and negotiate coverage
• Prepare and review proposals, bind coverage, create client policy summaries and binders
• Set up and maintain electronic records
• Follow best practices and internal broker standards
• Train and collaborate with team on coverage and exposures
• Perform other duties as assigned
