Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to provide high-level support for commercial lines accounts. The role includes handling certificates of insurance, policy changes, renewals, client presentations, and other project work to meet daily production standards and service commitments.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in insurance with strong communication, organizational, and data-entry skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School / GED is required.
• 1-2 years insurance industry experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Property & Causality License required within first 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Account Management team with all aspects of the account-service process.
• Respond to policy inquiries via phone and email.
• Field phone calls from insureds regarding questions about their coverage, changes, additions, payments, cancellations etc.
• Perform service work on a daily basis (certificates of insurance, policy changes, client payments).
• Participate in renewal preparation, generating renewal updates on accounts.
• Assist with marketing clients to carriers and with coordinating premium financing and collection of premiums.
• Check policies/endorsements and audits for accuracy; prepare quotes and proposals.
