Job summary

HUB International seeks an Account Manager II to support employee benefits programs for clients in California. You will manage day-to-day client service, enrollment, billing and data management in a collaborative HUB environment with Producers and service teams.

The role emphasizes client advocacy, plan analysis, and coordination with carriers to ensure smooth renewals and ongoing satisfaction. Strong knowledge of ACA/COBRA/ HIPAA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits products and services and how they are delivered to clients; knowledge of related legislation such as ACA, COBRA and HIPAA.
• Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the account-service process.
• Work with Producers and HUB personnel on client service, marketing and renewal.
• Acquire understanding of clients’ business and insurance objectives to determine plan suitability.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
• Serve as point of contact for day-to-day eligibility, claims, billing and benefit administration inquiries.
