Job summary

Insurance Office Of America, Inc. seeks an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, support new business, and coordinate day‑to‑day admin and customer service. You will resolve complex issues and ensure accuracy in policy administration and renewals.

You must hold an active P&C license and be able to work Pacific Time hours (M–F 8am–5pm). IOA offers competitive pay, bonus potential, health insurance, 401K match, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license is required.
• Professional designation CIC or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours: M–F 8am to 5pm.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and address delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and manage activity to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team regarding issues.
