Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, ensure retention, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service, resolving complex issues with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a P&C license and 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, plus strong analytical and communication skills. PT hours and a hybrid/remote setup may apply across western states, including AZ.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours (M-F 8am–5pm).
• 3+ years account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver exceptional service and proactively anticipate needs.
