Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and coordinate daily administrative tasks. Hybrid option available with one day in NY offices or fully remote for ETZ/CZT applicants.

Role requires active P&C license, strong client service, and knowledge of policy management, renewals, and carrier negotiations. Compensation includes salary plus bonus potential and company-paid benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: research, submissions, negotiate coverages and proposals.
• Maintain agency and carrier/vendor platform data accurately.
