Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new opportunities. Hybrid work is preferred with 1 day in NY offices or fully remote for ETZ/CST residents.

You will lead the account management team, handle policy administration, billing, claims, and renewal negotiations while maintaining strong client relationships and data accuracy across carrier platforms.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Renewals: manage expirations, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals.
