Overview
We are seeking a Business Development leader and Account Manager who challenges the status quo, acts with urgency and purpose, and drives sales growth and market share. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing sales strategies, engaging in B2B sales, conducting market analysis, negotiating contracts, documenting technical specifications, aligning deliverables, and closing deals. Willingness to travel at least 50%, including overnight stays, across various U.S. territories is required.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and action plans for capturing new opportunities in emerging markets and territories.
- Drive sales to meet KPIs for profitability, margin, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, product, and production teams to meet industry and product specifications on time.
- Utilize digital marketing and social media to enhance customer engagement and support marketing content development.
- Create and negotiate contract proposals with sales team support.
- Maintain detailed documentation in CRM systems for business continuity.
- Provide transparency on action plans and adjustments to ensure team alignment and timely delivery.
- Represent the company at conferences and tradeshows, staying current on industry developments.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
- Willingness to travel at least 50%, including overnight stays.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related industrial market.
- 7-10 years of B2B sales leadership in Business Development or Sales Management.
- At least 5 years of success in technical sales and consultative problem solving.
- Experience selling through direct and distribution channels.
- Experience with engineered-to-order products in markets such as oil/gas, medical, mining, steel/aluminum, tool and die, or metal stamping.
