Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales growth and expand distribution across assigned retail accounts. You will ensure execution standards, rotate stock, and build strong partnerships to support volume goals and brand visibility.

You will identify new markets, present a broad brand portfolio to retailers, negotiate display opportunities, and monitor inventories to prevent stockouts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in beverage sales, merchandising, or route execution preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21+ years of age with valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share through targeted selling and expanding distribution points across all relevant categories.
• Present and promote a broad portfolio of brands to retailers, ensuring alignment with promotions and seasonal initiatives.
• Increase shelf space and secure primary placements for core SKUs.
• Launch and execute sales promotions to drive immediate lift and long-term distribution wins.
• Introduce and support new product launches with plans including POS, sampling events, and education.
• Maintain product freshness by stock rotation and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor account inventories and adjust to avoid stockouts or aging inventory.
• Build relationships with store managers, buyers, and key decision-makers through consistent communication and execution.
• Conduct regular visits to accounts to monitor execution and provide performance updates.
