What You'll Do
- Achieve Sales Excellence: Grow service and repair revenue while supporting customer retention and long-term account success.
- Serve as a Trusted Partner: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular site visits, proactive communication, and timely follow-up.
- Manage Your Territory: Maintain an active sales pipeline, prioritize opportunities, and develop a strategic approach to growing your assigned market.
- Generate New Business: Identify and pursue new opportunities by building relationships with prospective customers, industry contacts, and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver Customer Solutions: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend service, repair, and modernization solutions that support their long-term goals.
- Prepare Bids and Contracts: Accurately create proposals by reviewing blueprints, conducting site surveys, and working closely with operations teams. Prepare and present service contract bids, including detailed analysis and follow-up.
- Continue Learning: Stay current on company offerings, industry trends, and local codes through ongoing training and development.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Sales Experience: 2+ years of B2B sales, outside sales, account management, or business development, including experience managing a pipeline and moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Relationship-Building and Communication Skills: Ability to establish trust, understand customer needs, present recommendations confidently, negotiate effectively, and lead productive business conversations.
- Drive and Initiative: A proactive, entrepreneurial, and resourceful approach, with the independence and motivation to take ownership of a territory, pursue new opportunities, and consistently follow through.
- Professional Presence: A polished and credible communication style, strong customer instincts, and the consistency to build lasting relationships with customers and internal partners.
- Organization and Follow-Through: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and consistently meet commitments in a fast-paced environment.
- CRM and Technology Skills: Experience using CRM systems to manage customer activity, opportunities, pipeline, and follow-up. Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Additional Qualifications: Experience in the elevator, construction, building services, HVAC, mechanical, facilities, or other technical service industries is a plus, but not required.
Location: Office is located in Madison, WI. Local travel to customer sites and projects throughout the territory is required.
Candidates with experience as a B2B Sales Representative, Outside Sales Representative, Account Manager, Account Executive, or in another sales-focused role are encouraged to apply. Backgrounds in HVAC, facilities services, fire protection, waste management, security services, pest control, and other service-based industries are also highly relevant.
