Job summary

Airgas is hiring for an Account Development Manager in the Denver, CO area. This entry-level role focuses on servicing existing customers while growing the account base within the territory, with a 70k pay range plus a 15% monthly commission and a 3-month guarantee.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in professional sales
• Computer proficiency
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to customer sites
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• No at-fault driving accident within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes sales plans to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts.
• Qualifies and pursues sales leads.
• Cultivates customer relationships by understanding the customer’s business and providing consultative service.
• Engages customers by linking their business priorities to the Airgas value proposition.
• Prepares sales proposals with pricing, credit terms, and delivery estimates.
• Maintains current industry insights and Airgas product knowledge; monitors competition.
• Partners with internal resources to communicate customer opportunities and developments.
• Maintains and submits sales reports as required.
• Manages Accounts Receivable balances for existing customers.
• Leverages VMI services to expand wallet share and long-term retention.
