Job summary

Ascend Agency, based in Irvine, CA, seeks an Account Executive to own a full‑cycle sales process for PR and SEO services. You will prospect, conduct discovery, present solutions, close new business, and drive reorders from agency partners.

You should be a metrics‑driven closer comfortable with high outbound volume, targeting agency owners and department heads, and managing a growing book of recurring revenue.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a full-cycle outbound sales role (agency, SaaS, marketing/advertising, or similar).
• Proven experience hitting or exceeding revenue and new-business quotas.
• Comfortable with high outbound activity and frequent phone contact with decision-makers.
• Excellent consultative selling, discovery, and closing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present clearly to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own a full sales cycle from prospecting to close for PR and SEO agency accounts.
• Conduct high‑volume outbound outreach to targeted agencies to generate new opportunities.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and convert them into qualified discovery calls.
• Run discovery and strategy calls with agency owners, heads of PR, and heads of SEO to understand client needs.
• Present Ascend’s guaranteed media placement solutions, build business cases, and handle objections.
• Close initial orders and structure follow‑on placements to grow each account.
• Manage and expand a personal book of agency business, driving reorders and upsells to hit revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and revenue in the CRM.
• Collaborate with operations and account management to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.
