Job summary

Boutique Recruiting in Irvine, CA seeks an Account Director to lead client relationships and drive growth across diverse brands. You will oversee campaigns, budgets, and cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable results.

With 5–7+ years in advertising, you will craft strategies, present proposals, and own client outcomes. This onsite role offers ownership of strategic growth initiatives and opportunities to work with healthcare accounts.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in advertising/marketing agency environment.
• Proven ability to grow and retain client accounts.
• Experience managing CRM systems, websites, and digital campaigns.
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies and profitability.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications (or equivalent).
• Healthcare industry experience and Adobe InDesign or Photoshop is a plus.
• Onsite in Irvine, CA with ~10–20% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client relationships, ensuring retention and growth.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and secure new business.
• Oversee day-to-day account operations, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and present marketing strategies, proposals, and reviews.
• Manage account budgets, profitability, and P&L.
• Collaborate with creative, digital, media, and marketing teams.
• Support new business pitches, RFPs, and contracts.
• Provide leadership to 1–2 direct reports and partner with senior leadership.
• Build relationships across diverse industries, including healthcare.
