Job summary

Richards Packaging Inc., a Richards Group company, is seeking an Account Executive for the USA Southwest region. The role focuses on presenting and selling packaging products, driving organic growth, and exceeding sales and margin budgets for new and existing customers.

The position is permanent full-time, hybrid, with mandatory travel. Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, plus a monthly car allowance, gas card, and potential bonus, reflecting the budgeted compensation for this

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required.
• 3–5 years of successful sales experience in the industry or related field.
• CPG product sales experience preferred.
• Strong sales and relationship development skills with proven communication ability.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify and propose new sales initiatives.
• Maintain and update territory records daily via CRM.
• Capable of managing territory expenses, samples and consignments per policy.
• Research and create effective sales presentations.
• Excellent computer skills especially MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan sales activities including customer visits, prospect visits, events, training, territory strategy, and presentations.
• Visit existing customers to maintain relationships and grow opportunities to hit targets.
• Prospect to open and secure new accounts in the territory.
• Conduct customer training events and represent Richards at trade shows.
• Handle administrative tasks including reporting, CRM data, and daily sales call logging.
