Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks an Account Leader to shape growth with a strategic hyperscale data center client. You will drive end-to-end account strategy, align customer needs with Hitachi Energy's cutting-edge solutions, and coordinate across multiple business units.

The role demands senior-level leadership, deep industry knowledge in energy/power and data centers, and a willingness to travel. Based near Austin, TX, with remote options, you will influence strategy and foster long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in sales/account management.
• 5+ years within the energy/power sector, selling similar solutions.
• 5+ years working with data center clients, ideally hyperscalers.
• Proven success in matrixed, cross-functional environments.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the United States.
• 30% travel requirement.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture executive-level relationships with a strategic data center customer.
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive account strategy.
• Drive growth by aligning customer needs with Hitachi Energy's solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across five business units.
• Act as the central point of contact for all customer interactions and escalations.
• Represent customer interests internally while supporting business unit goals.
• Mentor and guide internal teams to ensure alignment and success.
• Lead strategic negotiations and manage complex projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
