Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Data Center Market in North America with a remote work option.

You will craft market-based sales and marketing strategies for transformers products, drive orders, margin and market share, and coordinate with global stakeholders. The role requires a engineering or business background, 10+ years in engineering/manufacturing or sales, and ability to inspire teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Business field; Master’s preferred.
10 years of professional experience in engineering, manufacturing and/or sales.
Ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving targets, fostering collaboration.
Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with stakeholders and support initiatives across regions.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements a market-based approach including direct, third-party and project sales whilst building customer relationships with key stakeholders.
Defines, implements and coordinates all sales and marketing activities within the defined industry segment, in alignment to the given strategy, ensuring that product groups increase all relevant metrics in their market segments.
Strategically identify and pursue upcoming projects that align with growth objectives and industry advancements.
Align these efforts with an overarching strategy to boost metrics such as market share, customer satisfaction, and revenue across chosen market segments.
