Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking an Account Development Manager to grow new and existing business across commercial, industrial, and new home construction segments in the Edina, MN area. You will report to the Regional Manager and work in the field based in Edina, MN.

Responsibilities include developing account plans, leveraging CRM tools, collaborating with store management, and driving quotes to meet margin targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 3+ years of sales experience with strong customer service.
• CRM experience preferred; coatings industry experience is a plus.
• Daily travel within assigned territory; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to existing accounts and promote current promotions and products.
• Develop account plans, sales opportunities, and growth strategies for assigned stores and segments.
• Use CRM to manage accounts, log calls, run reports, and maintain contact info.
• Collaborate with store managers to meet or exceed customer needs.
• Prepare accurate quotes to achieve margin targets consistent with pricing strategies.
