Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation seeks an Access Optimization Consultant to drive enterprise performance by leading cross‑functional initiatives in patient access, capacity management, and operational optimization.

You will partner with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to design and sustain scalable solutions that improve access to care, provider schedule utilization, and the patient and provider experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in Health Systems, Engineering, Healthcare/Business Administration or related field Required
• Master's Degree Preferred
• 5 years progressively responsible professional work experience involving project management, quality, or process improvement, to include three (3) years in a healthcare environment Required
• Program management experience Preferred
• None Required

Responsibilities

• Drive Physician Enterprise performance through leadership of complex, cross‑functional initiatives focused on patient access, capacity management, and operational optimization.
• Serve as a strategic partner to clinical, operational, and executive leadership to design, implement, and sustain scalable solutions that improve access to care, provider schedule utilization, and overall patient and provider experience.
• Accountable for improving measurable access performance outcomes (e.g. schedule utilization, lead time, throughput) through workflow, system, and operational design.
• The Access Optimization Consultant translates operational strategy into actionable workflows, system requirements, and governance aligned decisions, ensuring initiatives deliver sustained, enterprise‑level impact.
