Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation seeks an Access Optimization Consultant to drive enterprise performance by leading cross‑functional initiatives in patient access, capacity management, and operational optimization.

You will partner with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to design and sustain scalable solutions that improve access to care, provider schedule utilization, and the patient and provider experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in Health Systems, Engineering, Healthcare/Business Administration or related field Required
• Master's Degree Preferred
• 5 years progressively responsible professional work experience involving project management, quality, or process improvement, to include three (3) years in a healthcare environment Required
• Program management experience Preferred
• None Required

• The Access Optimization Consultant translates operational strategy into actionable workflows, system requirements, and governance aligned decisions, ensuring initiatives deliver sustained, enterprise‑level impact.

Overview:

This role is primarily remote; however, candidates must be based in or near Atlanta and able to attend in‑person meetings at our Atlantic Station office approximately once every two weeks. Additional on‑site presence may be required for key meetings, strategy sessions, design collaborations, and practice site visits.
