Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS yards and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to diverse sites and collaboration with technicians and trainees.

You will follow NETA standards, document test data, and contribute to safety, quality and customer satisfaction while adapting to extreme weather and remote locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid training and awareness of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Complete a job with the assistance of Technicians and Trainees.
• Enter test data into the test report software.
