Job summary

Texas A&M University–Kingsville is seeking an Academic Technology Operations Coordinator to manage large, complex technology projects and operations supporting teaching and learning. The role coordinates classroom technology, AV systems, digital spaces, and workforce innovation environments, collaborating with ITS, Facilities, and external partners.

The position emphasizes operational excellence, AI-enabled teaching tools, and continuous improvement while aligning with institutional priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related experience.
• Knowledge of academic/instructional technology operations and IT service management (ITIL).
• Knowledge of A/V systems, digital learning spaces, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of academic technology services across classrooms, conference spaces, and digital learning environments.
• Lead planning and implementation of academic technology initiatives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Apply project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of technology projects.
• Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external partners to support technology-enabled learning environments.
