Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek individuals with a strong reconstructive focus to join our growing program, including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial, and hand surgery.

The candidate should be able to take independent hand and face trauma calls and contribute to teaching, research, and clinical care across Albany Med Health System, VA Medical Center, and affiliates.

Formación

• MD or DO degree required and valid licensure eligibility in NY.
• Completion of an ACGME Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by ABPS or equivalent.
• Ability to teach clinically and didactically demonstrated.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery is desirable but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide plastic surgery care including microvascular breast, craniofacial, and hand reconstruction.
• Take independent hand and face trauma calls as needed.
• Collaborate in clinical care, teaching, and research within the division.
• Contribute to expanding breast reconstruction and transgender/aesthetic services.
• Deliver care at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center and affiliate sites.

Educación

MD or DO degree (or equivalent)

ACGME plastic surgery residency completion

Board eligibility/certification (ABPS or foreign equivalent)

New York medical licensure eligibility

Clinical teaching competence

Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable
