Job summary

Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to expand clinical, educational, and research programs. The role includes independent hand and face trauma call and opportunities to shape practice through breast reconstruction at affiliate sites, transgender care expansion, and VA care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent) and completed plastic surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by ABPS or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide reconstructive plastic surgery care including breast reconstruction and microsurgery.
• Participate in resident education and research as part of an integrated residency program.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call and contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research.
