Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery invites applications for a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates will contribute to clinical care, education, and research, with a strong interest in reconstructive surgery including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the ABPS, or foreign equivalent recognized by ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research.
• Provide breast reconstruction services at affiliate hospital or VA Medical Center.
• Expand transgender care and aesthetic practice.
