Job summary

Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to expand clinical, educational, and research programs.

The division focuses on reconstructive surgery including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction. Candidates should be able to take independent hand and face trauma call and contribute to education and research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated teaching competence; fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Contribute to clinical care, teaching and research within a collaborative faculty.
