Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at Assistant or Associate Professor level to expand clinical, educational, and research programs. The role includes a strong emphasis on reconstructive surgery, including breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general microsurgery.

Candidates must be board-eligible or -certified in plastic surgery and eligible for NY licensure; fellowship in microvascular surgery is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching.
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Perform microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research within the division.
