The Division of Plastic Surgery at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will contribute to expanding clinical, educational, and research programs while delivering high-quality reconstructive care.

Applicants should have an MD or DO, completed plastic surgery residency, and be board-eligible or certified. NY licensure eligibility is required. A strong commitment to teaching and research is expected.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with plastic surgery training and NY licensure eligibility.
• Completion of an ACGME plastic surgery residency.
• Board eligibility or ABPS certification; foreign equivalent recognized.
• Teaching experience in clinical and didactic settings preferred.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide reconstructive microsurgery including breast, craniofacial and hand procedures.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Contribute to clinical education, residency teaching, and research.
• Collaborate with affiliated hospitals for expanded services.
