Job summary

Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Division of Plastic Surgery. The role includes responsibilities in clinical care, education, and research, with opportunities to expand breast reconstruction, transgender care, and aesthetic services.

Qualified candidates will have an MD or DO, completed plastic surgery residency, and NY licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research within the Division of Plastic Surgery.

Education

MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
