The Division of Plastic Surgery at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to expand clinical, educational, and research programs.

We welcome candidates with strong interests in reconstructive surgery, including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty and participate in teaching and research.

Formación

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent) required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency required.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by ABPS or foreign equivalent recognized by ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform reconstructive and microsurgical procedures including breast, craniofacial and hand surgery.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Contribute to education and research within the division.
• Collaborate with affiliated hospitals and Albany Stratton VA Medical Center.
