Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support department operations and provider credentialing activities. You will coordinate data entry, maintain the credentialing database, and ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree with related experience or a combination totaling six years. The role is full-time, day shift, hourly pay, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years related experience or six years total experience.
• Experience in an academic/medical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, and clinical facilities.
• Enter, update and maintain data from provider applications into the credentialing database.
• Monitor files for completeness and accuracy; ensure compliance with policies and accreditation.
• Communicate with providers, liaisons, and medical staff leadership as needed.
• Schedule travel for site visits, book flights and hotels, and reimbursements.
• Maintain databases for candidates and posting schedules.
• Schedule meetings and prepare materials.
