The University at Buffalo is seeking an Instructional Support Technician for the Graduate School of Social Work's IT team. This role provides technical support across desktops, instructional technologies, classroom resources and enterprise applications to assist faculty and students.

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, educational technology or a related field.
• At least two years of end-user technical support experience.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, Windows Server and Group Policy administration, plus proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, configure, implement and support desktop computing environments, instructional technologies, classroom technology resources, enterprise applications and mobile devices for the school.
• Evaluate and resolve complex technical issues, and analyze user and operational requirements to determine the right technology solutions.
• Configure, deploy, test and maintain computing equipment, software and managed devices.
• Administer endpoint security and device management solutions, including protection, disk encryption, patch management and access controls.
• Implement technology onboarding processes and system configurations, and maintain technical documentation and technology asset records.
• Contribute technical expertise to school technology projects, including systems integration and emerging technologies relevant to higher education such as artificial intelligence tools.
