Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist (Assistant or Associate Professor) to join our academic faculty. You will practice full spectrum EP in a collaborative environment and help educate fellows, residents, and APPs.

Responsibilities include outpatient EP clinic, inpatient EP consults, ablations, device implantations, and collaboration with heart failure, interventional cardiology, and imaging teams.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.
• Leadership qualities and assets are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
• Ablation procedures and device implantations
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
