Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing academic faculty, offering a full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include outpatient EP clinic and outreach, inpatient EP consultations, ablation procedures and device implantations, and education of fellows, residents, and advanced providers within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching abilities for an academic appointment
• Leadership qualities and collaboration skills valued
• Experience with teaching and mentoring across learners is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
• Ablation procedures and device implantations
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, surgery, and imaging
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced providers
